We are very pleased to inform you about the upcoming international event Catalan Weekend<\/a><\/strong> organised by \u00d2mnium Cultural<\/strong><\/a> from 25th-28th June<\/span><\/span>. Citizens from Europe and the world are invited to spend a long weekend in a Catalan home to learn about our culture and traditions as well as the current political situation in Catalonia. Catalan citizens will serve as your hosts and cultural guides.<\/p>\n During the Catalan Weekend registered participants will be able to attend free cultural, sporting and gastronomic activities, as well as political round table discussions, throughout Barcelona and Catalonia. The Main Event will be held in Barcelona on Saturday, June 27th<\/span><\/span> with special activities taking place at the Museum of History of Barcelona<\/strong><\/u><\/a>, the Museum of the History of Catalonia<\/strong><\/u><\/a>, and the Cultural Centre of El Born<\/strong><\/u><\/a> and will end with a festive party by the sea. The exact calendar of events is to be announced shortly on the website.<\/p>\n The website at www.catalanweekend.cat<\/a> is available in English with more information about the project. If you have friends in Catalonia, please contact them and ask them to host you! If you don\u00b4t know anyone, we will find an appropriate host for you.
